To celebrate this summer with a bang, Yasmine Shihata, the Founder and CEO of Venus Media and PR (and Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Enigma Magazine) and John Bendheim, Former President & Member of the board of Directors of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, hosted a Celebration of Arab Glamour in Beverly Hills with special Guests of Honour Princess Reema Bint Bandar Al Saud of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia and Egyptian Superstars أحمد حلمي Ahmed Helmy and Mona Zaki. The event was the first of its kind to be held at the glamour capital of the world: Beverly Hills! The event was a VIP evening for around 300-selected high net worth Arab and American guests, to celebrate Arab glamour and culture and present a more positive image of the Arab world in the US. The event took place at the stunning open air terrace of the famous Montage Beverly Hills.
The guest speakers at the event were Princess Reema Bint Bandar Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, who is an Entrepreneur and CEO of two luxury retail corporations (Al Hama LLC and Alfa International). She is also the founding member of the Zahra Breast Cancer Awareness Association, whose mission is to increase and spread awareness amongst women in Saudi Arabia for early detection, prevention and treatment of the disease.
The other two guest speakers were two of the biggest Arabic film and TV stars in the Middle East, Ahmed Helmy and Mona Zaki.
The event also raised awareness for the 10KSA Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, founded by Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud and Dr. Modia Batterjee DHA. Join10KSA is both a communal gathering within Saudi Arabia and a global effort to raise breast cancer awareness and encourage education and community.
