The private wellness manager works in a private home environment as a health and wellness coach for an individual and by extension the family unit. The ideal candidate is extremely passionate about wellness, nutrition, and exercise and through their passion will have a direct impact on the quality of life of an extraordinary individual and his family. Direct responsibility for administering PT, nutrition, supplements for optimal health. Will work directly with the principal to facilitate mobility in daily life and routine activities. Will provide administrative support to principal managing calendar, contacts, and appointments and providing all support needed to remain active and healthy.
Responsibilities: administer physical therapy, nutrition and coaching programs that focus on optimal overall health, wellness, safety and quality of life. Constantly seek opportunities to improve accessibility and mobility options, supplements and whole food nutrition. Work with a team to achieve maximum physical and mental health and fitness for principal while ensuring maximum safety at all times. Evaluate effects of therapy treatment, track and communicate progress while always seeking ways to improve efficiency and eliminate mobility challenges. Record and document health care plan and emergency preparedness, tracking nutrition, medications, supplements, contacts, and mobility equipment. Responsible for ordering all medications, supplements, whole food nutrition, doing whatever necessary to the environment safe and healthy. Collaborate with Drs., physical therapists and other team members to achieve optimal holistic lifestyle for the principal. Responsible for maintaining all Electronic, mobility and medical equipment ensuring all electronics are fully functional at all times Assisting with calendar planning, scheduling, travel coordination, and meeting logistics Proactively assist household staff with maintaining the home environment.
Requirements: Comfortable and confident working in high energy private service environment where the utmost discretion and confidentiality are required. Must possess most positive outlook, high energy, and passion for assisting others to improve their health and quality of life.
Technology savvy with proficiency in both Mac and PC systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and smart home systems; adept at operating smart home technology and accompanying security systems
Private nursing experience, ability to positively administer PT, supplements and encourage exercise and movement for wellness and quality of life. Must be capable of assisting with frequent transitions and working in the pool with a pool lift. Must be capable of easily assisting a 6’5, 230lb individual with safe and easy transitions in all environments Must be a dog lover.
